Mike Fijas is a veteran industry leader with over 38 years of experience in all aspects of taking a park from concept to operation and beyond. He has worked in and for many of the top brands in the business as well as with smaller family groups. He started his career as an operator and along the way, has worked “hands on”, in every department a park has as well as in other diverse, complimentary attractions. Mike not only has a mixed park background but also has varied and extensive International experience. He has experience in all facets as an operator, a consultant and as a safety specialist. Mike has a passion for the amusement industry and has served for several years as Chairman or on many committees within the World Waterpark Association as well as with IAAPA and ASTM.
